Forget Me Not: Birthdays ("Birthdays", "the app") is developed by Jamal Habash. This policy describes what the app does — and deliberately does not do — with your information.
Birthdays asks for access to your contacts so it can find birthdays and show reminders. This access is used entirely on your device:
Gift ideas and notes you write in the app are stored only on your device. Deleting a note removes it from the app immediately.
Like any app's data, the information Birthdays stores on your device — birthdays, contact photos, notes, and settings — may be included in your standard iCloud or computer backups. Backups are managed by Apple and controlled entirely by you in your device settings; they never pass through us.
Birthday reminders are scheduled locally on your device using Apple's notification and Live Activity frameworks. No push servers are involved.
Premium subscriptions and purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple Account. We never receive your payment details, name, or address. The app stores only a local record of whether Premium is unlocked. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple Account settings.
Nothing. The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking SDKs, and makes no network requests of its own. We do not collect, sell, or share any personal information. Apple may provide us with anonymized, aggregate statistics about downloads and sales; these contain no personal information.
The app does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.
If a future version of the app changes any of the above — for example, by adding an optional online feature — we will update this policy and note the change here before that version ships.
